Mommy and Daddy took me to the beach this week! I got to meet and get to know tons of family and they all got to spoil me! We finally got to Emerald Isle, NC on Tuesday afternoon after a boring 8 hour ride, and boy was I glad to be out of that car seat! That evening we walked down to the beach and I got to see the ocean for the first time ever! It was so cool that I wanted to run in the water and play. Mommy took plenty of pictures (see below). On Wednesday Daddy and Mommy took me to an aquarium that was near the beach and I had a lot of fun seeing the fish and different animals.
Thursday and Friday we made trips to the beach each morning and I got to play in the sand and the water. While Daddy learned how to surf from cousin Tommy, Mommy and I collected lots of pretty shells, most of which I had to taste first - sand & salt water aren’t so bad.

You decide! While Mommy was fixing my snack today I decided to get into this bag of books that Grandma brought over. Well I was just flippin the pages and looking at each one so Mommy left me alone for once! Hehehe, little does she know that I learned quite a lot reading those books today! Tomorrow I’m gonna see if I can find out if Jeremy Thatcher really was a Dragon Hatcher! Click the picture to see a few more pics of me today getting into those books.
