15 Month Doctor Check Up
Well Bo received a clean bill of health at the doctor’s office today! He is weighing in at 25 lbs, 5 oz and is 31″ long!!! He also got three shots to keep him uptodate on his boosters. Bo was a very brave boy and hardly even cried after the first shot and then didn’t cry anymore, even after the 2nd and 3rd shots!
We asked the doctor about him not walking on his own yet, and she assured us that since he is pulling up and walking while holding on to something that he is completely fine and normal.
We also discussed his eating habits and she advised us that he will start getting picky about some foods and eating less as he hits a “non-growth” stage.

Our Sticky Field Trip
Bo was a berry face when we finished picking two gallons of strawberries this morning. He had a blast chowing down on ripe strawberries and riding in his backpack carrier. We met cousins Gracie & Paul (and their parents) at Washington Farms for a morning field trip. We also visited the animal petting area and Bo made friends with a burro and some small goats. We also made a great family photo of us all sticky with juice. To see all the fun check out Mommy’s Blog or click here to see all the pictures.
Hives & a short Dr visit
Bo developed hives on Wednesday morning (very minor according to the doctor) and we’re not sure what is causing them but he seems to doing okay – just a little irratable. According to the doctor they could be caused by just about anything and isn’t likely we will ever figure out exactly what it is. We’ve been giving him childrens benadryl every 6 hours which Bo is happy to take because it’s bubble gum flavored. The hives have gone down a lot since yesterday and thankfully he’s not scratching them.
Bo did weigh in at 25 lbs 11 oz! Which puts him between 50th and 75th percentiles!
